FAQ
Clear answers before you commit launch runway
What we do, what we charge, what we report — and what we will never promise.
These answers reflect how LaunchPointCo operates as a go-to-market and launch marketing agency in Vancouver. If your question is not covered, contact us directly.
Is LaunchPointCo an accelerator, crypto launchpad or course — and do you guarantee a successful launch?
No. LaunchPointCo is a professional go-to-market and launch marketing agency. We plan and execute client launch work — positioning, messaging, launch campaigns, landing-page conversion and post-launch optimization. We do not operate as a startup accelerator, token or crypto launchpad, investment platform or training course. The .pro domain reflects professional launch services; "Launch" means go-to-market and product launch for your brand, not a blockchain token sale; "Point" means your sharp launch point, not loyalty points or reward currency. We cannot and do not guarantee a successful launch, specific rankings, reach, leads, sales or ROI. Launch outcomes depend on product quality, market readiness, budget and competitive conditions.
How do you structure engagements — project or retainer?
Both. Focused product launches — go-to-market plan, positioning, launch campaign and landing-page conversion — typically run as scoped projects with a fixed fee and launch calendar. Post-launch optimization, ongoing launch comms and sustained demand programmes often move to a monthly CAD retainer once the initial release is live. We discuss which model fits during discovery; many clients start with a launch project and extend into retainer work after reviewing the launch scorecard.
What are typical CAD budgets for launch work?
Launch projects for SMEs often range from C$15,000 to C$45,000 depending on scope — whether you need full go-to-market planning or only launch campaigns and landing-page conversion. Post-launch optimization retainers frequently start around C$6,000–C$12,000 per month. Paid media spend is separate and managed transparently. We quote in Canadian dollars and align launch runway to your budget honestly — no padded line items for disciplines you will not use.
How long does a launch engagement take?
Discovery and go-to-market planning typically take one to two weeks. A focused product launch from brief to live launch campaign usually requires four to eight weeks, depending on message testing, creative production and platform approvals. Complex hardware or multi-market releases may need ten to twelve weeks. We will tell you when a requested launch date compresses pre-launch work below what message testing and landing-page conversion require.
Which launch disciplines do you cover?
Go-to-market and launch strategy, positioning and messaging, message testing, launch campaigns and paid media (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, programmatic), website and landing-page conversion, PR and launch comms, waitlist and demand programmes, launch analytics and post-launch optimization. We recommend channels based on your audience and launch runway — not every platform suits every product entering the Canadian market.
Do you work with pre-revenue startups?
Yes, when product readiness and budget support a credible launch. We decline engagements where marketing cannot compensate for an unfinished product or where budget cannot fund minimum viable launch campaigns and landing-page conversion work. Honest discovery saves both sides wasted runway.
How do you report and what does transparency look like?
Every engagement includes a launch scorecard — metrics agreed before spend moves. Reporting cadence depends on scope: weekly during active launch campaigns, bi-weekly during post-launch optimization retainers. Dashboards cover channel performance, landing-page conversion, waitlist and demand signals and PR pickup where applicable. We flag underperformance early and recommend pivots rather than hiding weak numbers behind vanity metrics.
How do you handle personal information and marketing email?
Contact form data is processed under PIPEDA with explicit consent via the consent_pipeda checkbox — not pre-checked. Marketing emails require separate express consent under CASL. Privacy enquiries: [email protected]. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Can we visit your Vancouver studio?
Yes. LaunchPointCo is at 300 Water Street, Suite 210 in Gastown. In-person positioning workshops and launch war-room sessions are available by appointment, Mon–Fri 09:00–17:00 PT. Remote clients across Canada join via video when travel is impractical.
